Secretary Brouillette to Travel to Pennsylvania

Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will be in the Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania area to tour of Susquehanna Steam Electric Station.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Friday, August 21, 2020, U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will be in the Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania area to participate in a tour of Susquehanna Steam Electric Station at the Susquehanna Nuclear Plant. He will meet with employees and discuss their efforts providing reliable, clean electricity to the Pennsylvania Commonwealth. The tour of Susquehanna will also include a visit to the site’s Learning Center.

Following the conclusion of the tour, Secretary Brouillette will hold a media availability at the Learning Center.

Media planning to cover this event must RSVP to jessica.szymanski@hq.doe.gov and taryne.williams@talenenergy.com by 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 19th to be cleared into the Site.
