WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Thursday, October 15, 2020, U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will be in Johnstown and Erie, Pennsylvania to discuss energy supply chain issues facing America, and how Western PA is poised to help the U.S. overcome those issues. With the recent Appalachian energy renaissance, the Trump Administration sees enormous growth potential for energy, manufacturing, and science sectors in places like Johnstown and Erie.

On Thursday morning, Secretary Brouillette will tour Concurrent Technologies Corporation’s Environmental Technology Facility in Johnstown with DOE’s Assistant Secretary for Nuclear Energy Rita Baranwal. They will hold a media availability following the tour.

Thursday afternoon, Secretary Brouillette will head to Erie, PA to participate in a roundtable discussion with local labor and energy leaders. He will also tour Penn State Behrend’s Plastics Engineering Laboratory, which will be open to the press.
