WASHINGTON, D.C. – Tomorrow, October 27, 2020, U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will be in Washington County, Pennsylvania touring an active Range Resources natural gas well site just outside Pittsburgh. He will also hold a roundtable discussion with regional energy and labor leaders on Wednesday, October 28, at DOE’s National Energy Technology Laboratory in the Pittsburgh area. Secretary Brouillette will also be making a substantial energy funding announcement.

President Trump’s all-of-the-above energy strategy has made the United States the world’s largest producer of oil and gas and a global leader in energy-related carbon emissions reductions. The country’s newfound energy independence provides enormous economic benefits, particularly in states like Pennsylvania, and strengthens our national security. Secretary Brouillette will highlight the critical importance of maintaining a strong domestic oil and gas industry, and continuing the incredible energy and environmental progress the U.S. has made.
