WASHINGTON, D.C. – This afternoon, October 21, 2020, U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will participate in a fireside chat hosted by Rice University’s Baker Institute. The discussion will be moderated by the Institute’s Senior Director of the Center for Energy Studies, Dr. Ken Medlock.

The fireside chat will focus on the nexus of energy security and national security. Secretary Brouillette will highlight how America’s energy independence under the Trump Administration has enhanced our domestic security and enabled U.S. foreign policy options that were not imaginable just a decade ago. The United States’ energy renaissance has also bolstered the energy and national security of our allies around the world.
