The Department of Energy’s (DOE's) Office of Electricity (OE) pioneers advanced technologies to transform the nation’s electric grid. 

OE’s mission is to stabilize, optimize and grow the electricity system to ensure the grid delivers affordable, reliable and secure energy to the American people.
