Jake Washington is a global private sector business leader with exceptional financial acumen, client management and team-building skills. His core competencies include: leadership, federal portfolio management, program and project management, corporate acquisition, business strategy and operations, design and construction management, environmental planning and remediation, facilities asset management, emergency management, contingency constriction operations, utilities & energy, defense public works, federal acquisition, procurement, and wireless telecommunications operations. Markets within his portfolio include: government buildings, aviation, ports & maritime, transportation, and water/waste water among others.

As a senior executive with Jacobs, Washington currently leads strategy, client management and operational delivery of all projects supporting Navy and Marine Corps world-wide.

Prior to his private sector career, Washington  completed a very successful 28-year Navy career serving in the Surface Warfare and Civil Engineer Corps communities, attaining the rank of Captain, serving in Major Regional Command and Operations billets, and leading organizations of up to 10,000 personnel.

Washington serves on the EMAB as a special government employee. He provides expert advice on environmental stewardship, contracting and management, large project planning, and risk assessment.
