Director, Office of Resource Management

Stephanie K. Martin is the Director for the Office of Resource Management within the Office of Environment, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS). The office supports the infrastructure by providing balanced, unbiased, technically competent, and customer focused services in the areas of:  (1) Financial Management, including budget formulation and execution; (2) Procurement Management, including contract and credit card programs; (3) Information Management, including technology-based solutions and programs; (4) Human Resources, including recruitment and retention programs; (5) Administrative Services, including property management, travel, and work space management; and; (6) Strategic and Program Planning including performance and efficiency measures. 

Prior to her current position, Ms. Martin was the Deputy Director for the Office of Resource Management (EHSS).  Preceding that, Ms. Martin was the Director of the Office of Human Resources and Administration for the Office of Enterprise Assessment (EA), supervising a staff comprised of human resource and administrative professionals.  This staff of professionals was dedicated to providing expert advice, guidance and assistance to senior EA managers and program offices in the effective management and implementation of the broad range of organizational change, human capital, labor-management, and administrative management activities essential to accomplishing the overall EA mission and functions.

Ms. Martin has been with DOE since 1991 and during her tenure she has served in several organizations within the Department - Office of the Chief Health, Safety and Security Officer (HSS); Office of Security & Safety Performance Assurance (SSA); and Office of Environment, Safety and Health (EH);  in the human resources arena. Prior to her DOE service, Ms. Martin worked for the Department of Navy.
