The DOE Contractor Employee Assistance Program (EAP) managed by the Office of Worker Safety and Health Assistance (EHSS-12) will facilitate the Annual DOE Contractor EAP Program Training in May. This training is held in May in recognition of National Mental Health Awareness Month. The EAP training provides the opportunity for DOE Contractor EAP Professionals to gather together to share insights, tools, and strategies in mental health practice. This training offers EAP professionals with specialized seminars in counseling techniques, workplace trends, EAP guidance, and legislation. The training modules this year include topics on EAP Laws and Ethics, Psychopharmacology, Substance Abuse and Addiction Disorders, and Generational Differences in the Workplace.
