DOE SSL R&D Workshop
Lighting experts from across the country and abroad gathered for the 15th annual DOE Solid-State Lighting R&D Workshop, held January 29-31 in Nashville, TN, to address the complex science and technology challenges facing SSL today. The mix of perspectives – spanning universities, labs, and companies large and small – resulted in a robust and exciting exchange of ideas on SSL research progress and future R&D needs.

DOE SSL R&D Workshop
Around 250 attendees gathered in Long Beach, CA, to participate in the 14th annual DOE SSL R&D Workshop, to share the latest on SSL advances, examine market forces that are shaping SSL technology, and explore how the technology is defining new market opportunities. Attendees also had an opportunity to provide input that will guide updates to the DOE SSL R&D Plan and DOE SSL funding solicitations.
