The Department of Defense (DoD) recently issued a request for information (RFI) seeking information related to the feasibility of implementing a firm-fixed-price renewable energy supply agreement for geothermal energy for use at multiple DoD locations.
DoD is interested in information regarding:
- Potential geothermal or hybridized technologies
- Recommended contract term
- Expected cost and pricing
- Expected development sizing and resource availability
- Risks to developers and more
The RFI is issued solely for information, planning, and market research purposes.
