The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) hosted a Hydrogen Storage Lab Principal Investigator (PI) Workshop on November 4–5, 2015, in Golden, Colorado. The objectives of this meeting were to (1) introduce the new Hydrogen Materials—Advanced Research Consortium (HyMARC), (2) present the role of HyMARC with respect to future U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)-funded  hydrogen storage projects, along with the role of the NREL-led characterization and validation efforts, and (3) allow other national laboratory PIs involved in projects related to hydrogen storage to present their unique capabilities that could enhance HyMARC efforts in the future.
