Dr. Elless is a Technology Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO), with a focus on feedstock supply and logistics. For more than ten years, Dr. Elless has been involved in the development of agricultural and woody biomass for enhanced production of biofuels. In his current position, Dr. Elless works with his colleagues in the Bioenergy Technologies Office and in collaboration with other federal agencies as well as researchers at national laboratories, universities, and private industry to help reduce our country's dependence on foreign oil.
