The 39th Symposium on Biotechnology for Fuels and Chemicals will take place on May 1–12, 2017, in San Francisco, California. The 2017 topic areas for the conference include renewable feedstocks; feedstock pretreatment and fractionation; enzyme engineering and biochemistry; strain development, characterization, and application; synthetic and systems biology; design and assessment of integrated bioprocesses, including separations; and fuels, chemicals, and other biobased products.
