WEBINAR: Advanced Manufacturing Projects for Emerging Research Exploration Funding Opportunity - January 5

The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Office, will host an informational webinar on January 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM ET regarding the Advanced Manufacturing Projects for Emerging Research Exploration funding opportunity. Standard application questions regarding the EERE Office and FOA procedures will be discussed. No new information will be presented during the webinar and EERE will not answer any attendee questions during the webinar.

Approximately $35 million in available funding will be available to support early-stage innovative technologies and solutions in advanced manufacturing that are not significantly represented in EERE’s current portfolio. Register for the webinar here.

DEADLINE: Industrial Assessment Center Technical Field Manager Letter of Intent – January 10

Letters of intent for the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) entitled “Industrial Assessment Centers Technical Field Manager” are due January 10, 2017 at 5:00 PM ET. The submission deadline for full applications is February 14, 2017 at 5:00 PM ET.

Up to $5 million in funding is available for an IAC Technical Field Manager to be a liaison between the AMO Technology Manager and the 28 individual Industrial Assessment Centers.

Energy Management Leadership Awards Application Deadline – January 24

The Department of Energy (DOE) is taking part in a global awards program to recognize companies or organizations that use an ISO 50001 energy management system (EnMS) to save energy and reduce costs. The Energy Management Leadership Awards showcase global use of these proven systems and help attain national and global climate goals. Any organization that holds a current, third-party-verified ISO 50001, including Superior Energy Performance® (SEP™), certificate is eligible to enter the competition.
