LAST CHANCE: AMO’s Second Workshop on Clean Water in Cleveland, OH – Aug. 23-24
In case you missed the first workshop, the Advanced Manufacturing Office will host a second workshop on Clean Water Processing Technology Research and Development. This workshop will focus on industrial, agricultural and human needs, challenges, and future paths to solve and satisfies this nations issues with water manufacture, use and production. This workshop will be held on August 23-24, 2017, at the Wyndham hotel in Cleveland, OH.
Please register no later than August 18th, 2017 as attendance is limited.
DEADLINE APPROACHING: Request for Information on Clean Water Technologies – August 28
The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), on behalf of its Advanced Manufacturing Office, seeks feedback on technologies with the potential for early stage research and development (R&D) that if successfully advanced could impact the cost-effective and energy efficient availability of clean water.

Better Plants Partners Recognized at the Industrial Energy Technology Conference
The 2017 Industrial Energy Technology Conference (IETC) brought over 100 energy managers, utility experts, and other industrial sector vendors and stakeholders together to network and learn about industrial innovations, energy use and waste reduction programs, and the latest in state and federal initiatives affecting industry.
Better Plants partners were widely represented at the conference, and also took home two IETC Energy Awards. Read more about the topics and awards that were presented at the 3-day event.
The Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation (IACMI), recently announced 14 members of its 2017 class of interns. The internship program is helping to develop a pipeline of technology talent and leadership for the future composites industry.
