The Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy is hiring a Deputy Director of Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies. The Deputy Director of Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies will be responsible for providing independent, authoritative program management and policy development advice, guidance, and direction to DOE leadership, as well as to other Federal agencies, industry, and the private sector.

The role will provide critical support and direction for DOE's work to develop and demonstrate advanced materials and clean energy manufacturing technologies to increase domestic competitiveness and build a clean, decarbonized economy. This portfolio also includes work on developing sustainable and secure supply chains. The Deputy Director will help plan, manage, and direct research, development, technical assistance, and workforce development activities related to both the materials and clean energy manufacturing spaces.
