AMO Launches Software Tool to Help Manufacturing Plants Improve Unique Water Efficiency Needs

AMO recently launched a new beta version of the Plant Water Profiler Tool (PWPEx Tool v0.1) designed to help industrial manufacturing plants identify and account for water procurement and consumption in manufacturing operations, recognize the true cost of water, and identify potential areas for water savings and associated water and energy cost savings. The new tool could be the “first step” that industrial companies can use to identify opportunities for savings and improve their water use.

AMO is seeking feedback on this new tool. Learn more about the features and capabilities of PWPEx Tool v0.1, and submit comments or questions to AMO_ToolHelpDesk@ee.doe.gov.
