Brittany Smart is National Security Community Liaison at the Arctic Energy Office, in addition to her position as Senior Advisor for Defense, Community and Research at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. In her Liaison role, she focuses on connecting defense and community energy priorities.
She has a background in municipal government, economic development, and military affairs, working closely with community and military partners to strengthen regional readiness and resilience, and a degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Hawai'i
