A promotion of the ArcticX webinar series and in-person summit in Anchorage, Alaska,
May 10, 2022
X Marks the Spot
And that spot is…the ArcticX InnovationXLabTM Summit: Committing to a Sustainable Arctic at the Dena’ina Center in Anchorage, Alaska on May 23, 2022. If you’re interested in DOE technology commercialization and deployment partnerships that can help us realize a sustainable energy future, I hope we’ll see you there.
Our office has been working with the DOE Office of Technology Transitions on this effort for more than a year, crafting the vision, developing the content, planning out the logistics, and (of course) dealing with COVID-19 complications. The result is a program that addresses a wide range of energy and environment plus resilience and sustainability topics that I hope--and believe--many will find helpful.
A majority of DOE’s national laboratories are participating in ArcticX as panelists and booth representatives. The speakers’ list includes senior leaders from DOE, Alaska and beyond. We’ve got breakout rooms reserved for smaller group discussions and literature to share as complements to what we’ll hear from the podium and panelists.
And, we’ve actually already launched the program! Many people participated in the three webinars we held to provide introductions to the themes and opportunities that we’ll be exploring together in-person on May 23. Recordings of those exchanges, and details regarding the in-person event agenda content, speaker biographical sketches, travel logistics, and a registration link are all available on our ArcticX website. Send us an email if you’ve got questions, you can reach us anytime at arcticenergy@hq.doe.gov.
I hope you’ll join us for the eXperience ahead.
