The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Critical Materials Collaborative is convening stakeholders from industry, national labs, and academia for a Domestic Critical Minerals and Materials Supply Chains Workshop. This discussion will underscore the role of critical minerals and materials to achieving energy dominance and elucidate DOE’s strategies and programming to secure a resilient critical minerals and materials supply chain. The workshop will feature speakers from several DOE offices funding critical minerals and materials programs and highlight exemplary projects that are advancing and accelerating key technologies and processes. The meeting will conclude with an opportunity to provide input on a series of questions that will help DOE understand the needs, challenges, and opportunities facing the critical minerals and materials sector.
