Janette Gonzalez

Ms. J. Janette Gonzalez was named Director of the Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) in May 2023. In this capacity, she provides overall leadership and direction for oversight of Savannah River Site Operations Office (SROO) contracts with a total value of over $54 billion. These contracts cover all aspects of nuclear material disposition and environmental cleanup activities on the 310 square mile site. It also includes a nuclear facility construction project with an estimated value of $2.2 billion, and one of the federal government's largest Energy Savings Performance Contracts valued at over $900 million. Ms. Gonzalez also directs the effective management of $3.2 billion in federal property and provides Department of Energy (DOE) oversight of contractor human capital management activities.

Ms. Gonzalez received her MA in Executive Leadership from Liberty University and BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Program Management from City University. She is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program from the Graduate School USA with over 28 years of experience in contracting and 17 of those years in the federal government.

Ms. Gonzalez began her contracting career as an active-duty member of the United States Air Force and has worked for DOE since 2010 at sites including DOE-SR and Hanford. Most recently, she has served as a Business & Management Support Team Lead within the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) at SRS.
