The Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnership (GRIP) Program is designed to enhance grid flexibility and improve the resilience of the power system against growing threats of extreme weather and climate change.
October 4, 2022Join us for a webinar on Thursday, October 6 at 1 p.m. ET to learn about the Grid Resilience Innovation Partnership Program.
As part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Grid Deployment Office (GDO) is administering a $10.5 billion Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnership (GRIP) Program to enhance grid flexibility and improve the resilience of the power system against growing threats of extreme weather and climate change.
This webinar will provide an overview of the GRIP Program and review the three funding mechanisms.
On August 30, 2022, GDO released a Request for Information (RFI) seeking input from States, Tribes, communities, utilities, project developers, and other key stakeholders to help refine the funding opportunity announcement that will be made later this year and to guide the implementation of the funding over five years.
DOE is requesting feedback through the RFI on the proposed implementation strategy for the GRIP Program. Comments must be received by October 14, 2022, by 5 p.m. ET and can be submitted by emailing GDORFI@hq.doe.gov.
