The Hydropower Environmental and Industry Research Summit brings together representatives from both environmental and industry hydropower groups to gather input on the current R&D needs in the hydropower community. Attendees are invited to share insights on the technological and scientific needs for sustainable hydropower in the United States. The summit was first held in 2017 in Washington, D.C., gathering over 65 hydropower industry executives, government leaders, and technology researchers to discuss how companies can collaborate with labs to accelerate innovation in hydropower. Since then, the summit has grown to host over ______ hydropower professionals.
