The Commercial Buildings Integration program engages market leaders to accelerate adoption of energy-saving technologies and practices by the commercial buildings market and support development of new, integrated program models for building retrofit. CBI relies on these partners to test and refine resources, conduct real-world demonstrations, and facilitate the deployment of solutions to the market through peer sharing and exchange. DOE also recognizes business leaders nationally for their progress and success. Our six central partnership activities are the Better Buildings Challenge, Better Buildings Alliance, Better Buildings Accelerators, the State and Local Energy Efficiency Action Network, and competitively selected Cooperative Agreements projects.

State and Local Energy Efficiency Action Network
The State and Local Energy Efficiency Action Network (SEE Action) is a state and local effort facilitated by DOE and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that helps states, utilities, and other local stakeholders take energy efficiency to scale and achieve all cost-effective energy efficiency by 2020.
