A ribbon cutting ceremony was held March 12, 2024, to mark the completion of the 138kV Power Transmission System Replacement Project at the Nevada National Security Site.
As part of its efforts to demonstrate transparency about its work, in late November NNSA welcomed 13 non-governmental experts on arms control and nonproliferation to its Nevada facilities, including parts of the Nevada National Security Site.

Earlier this year, NNSA's Office of Nuclear Material Integration, in cooperation with the Y-12 National Security Complex, completed the Zero Power Physics Reactor Depleted Uranium Recovery Project.

Jeff Edlund was honored by NNSA and the Department of Energy as its Safety System Oversight Engineer of the Year for 2020.
