Acquisition Guide, Chapters 42.15, Contractor Performance Information

The subject Acquisition Guide Chapter has been updated to incorporate Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) changes published in Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69. The FAR has Table 42-1 Evaluation Ratings Definitions and Table 42-2 Evaluation Ratings and Definitions for the Small Business Subcontracting Evaluation Factor, when 52.219-9 is used in a contract; therefore, Attachment A, Ratings and Narratives is deleted from this chapter. Other revisions include adding in Section II that evaluations shall be prepared at least annually and at the time the work under a contract or order is completed. In Section IV, it reminds the contracting officer of FAR 17.207 - Exercise of options, to consider the contractor's past performance on other contract actions, as well as, the contractor's performance on the current contract to have acceptable ratings.
