The Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) announces the launch of the new FEMP Assistance Request Portal. This online tool allows Federal agencies to submit and track requests for assistance with meeting their renewable energy and energy-efficiency goals. During the first phase of this tool, portal assistance is geared toward renewable energy projects. Other project types will be included in later phases.

Agencies can use the portal to submit requests for technical assistance with the planning and implementation phases of renewable energy projects and can track the status of these requests. The portal enables FEMP to better monitor technical assistance requests from Federal agencies, while providing information on training and opportunities for financial assistance.
