The Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management is participating in the American-Made EnergyTech University Prize (EnergyTech UP) from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Technology Transitions. EnergyTech UP is a collegiate competition challenging multidisciplinary student teams to develop and present a business plan that leverages national laboratory-developed or other high-potential energy technologies. FECM will be awarding a $25,000 bonus prize to teams who develop the most innovative plan focused on carbon dioxide removal.
All students need to enter is a short summary and slide deck addressing the energy technology they’ll be leveraging to create their business plan. Ideas leveraging university, national laboratory, or student energy technologies are welcome.
Register for an informational session on January 17 at 3 p.m. ET to connect with regional conveners, network with peers, and receive guidance on submission ideas.
The EnergyTech UP team registration deadline is Thursday, January 26. Learn more and join the competition!
