Duties/Description

This position is in the Hydrogen with Carbon Management division within the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management.  The division provides Headquarters oversight, management, and direction of the DOE’s research, development, and demonstration activities to increase the availability, efficiency, and reliability of clean hydrogen systems while maintaining environmental standards. While the primary focus is on the conversion of natural gas, biomass waste, waste plastics, or waste coal or petroleum coke into clean hydrogen through coupling with carbon capture and reliable storage, there will be paralleled efforts to the conversion of clean hydrogen to electricity.
