Ready to become a big data detective and find the hidden patterns of our world? It’s time to take your blossoming computer science and data skills and raise them to the next level at Argonne. And once you get going on that pathway, you’ll be able to investigate just about any question you can dream up.

In this free, 5-day summer camp, students will access data from the Array of Things (AoT) urban sensor project at Argonne. With this data as well as advanced tools from professional researchers, participants get to learn first-hand what it’s like to be a data scientist. The experience, led by scientists from Argonne’s Leadership Computing Facility, enables students to visualize data and realize unexpected and amazing relationships within the data.

Through the one-of-a-kind experiences, participants will discover how they can apply their computer science abilities to their future professions in STEM-linked fields, paving the way forward to a bright tomorrow using data and scientific research.
