Principle Power completes testing at Oregon tank facility

After weeks of anticipation over the holidays to begin testing, we finally arrived in Corvallis to find…. rain. Coming from drought-stricken California, it was a bit of a shock, but thankfully all of the researchers at the Hindsdale Wave Research Lab gave us a warm welcome. We were duly impressed with their experience, knowledge and professionalism in running a world-class wave tank and tsunami basin. We hope to return in the near future as it was a delight to work with them. Although we hit some bumps along the way, after a long week of installing, troubleshooting and testing the wave energy device, we are relieved to be finishing with this ‘labor-intensive’ part of the application. Here is a video of one of the runs.
