On January 30, 2017, the SunShot Initiative hosted the annual program review for the Sustainable and Holistic Integration of Energy Storage and Solar PV (SHINES) funding program. SHINES projects are developing and demonstrating integrated, scalable, and cost-effective solar technologies that seamlessly incorporate energy storage to meet both consumer needs and the needs of the electric grid.
