You are invited to join EERE’s Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) for Sustainable Transportation Michael Berube on Tuesday, June 22, at 11 a.m. ET for a webinar: EERE FY 22 Budget Request: Sustainable Transportation.

To lead in the transition to a 100% clean energy economy, EERE’s budget request of $4.7 billion includes more than $1 billion in new funding to deploy the clean energy technologies that can help decarbonize transportation for all Americans while creating jobs and building a more equitable economy.

This one-hour chat will highlight the activities, programs, and initiatives proposed in EERE’s budget request that will help decarbonize the transportation sector by investing in enabling the commercial deployment of net-zero GHG technologies for all modes of transportation (road, rail, sea, and air), while ensuring affordable mobility solutions for people and goods across all economic and social groups, reducing the impact on local air quality and using sustainable water and land practices.

DAS Michael Berube will be joined by the following directors from EERE’s sustainable transportation technology pillar:

  • Dr. Valerie Sarisky-Reed, Acting Director, Bioenergy Technologies Office
  • Dr. Sunita Satyapal, Director, Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office
  • David Howell, Acting Director, Vehicle Technologies Office

The final 15 minutes will be reserved for questions.

Register to attend via Zoom.
