Through its advanced manufacturing offices, EERE funds projects aimed at accelerating the innovation and adoption of cost-effective technologies that eliminate industrial GHG emissions to facilitate the creation of a zero-carbon domestic industrial base. Awardees include national laboratories, state and local governments, universities, nonprofit organizations, and private companies.

In addition to the projects below, the Industrial Efficiency & Decarbonization Office (IEDO) and Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Office (AMMTO) work directly with the private sector through technical partnerships, public-private consortia, and by working closely with other Department of Energy Offices in various cross-office programs.
