August 12, 2022The Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) is rapidly expanding our team and looking for individuals to lead our work in advanced materials and manufacturing technologies and industrial efficiency and decarbonization. - Next Generation Materials & Processes Program Manager (GS-15)
- Serves as the Supervisory Program Manager for the Next Generation Materials & Processes program. Develops and issues work plans for assigned internal and external EERE programs, including definition of program elements/statements, program performance review procedures, milestones, provision for program adjustments/allowance for contingencies, performance indicators, funding, staffing, need for contracting, and related matters.
- Energy- and Emission-Intensive Industries Program Manager (GS-15)
- Serves as the Supervisory Program Manager for the Energy- and Emission-Intensive Industries team and has the primary responsibility for implementing all related activities consistent with Office objectives. Serves as a subject matter expert in the development and implementation of industrial decarbonization activities to improve the research, development, demonstration, commercialization, and adoption of these technologies in the U.S.
- Energy Technology Manufacturing and Workforce Program Manager (GS-15)
- Serves as the Supervisory Program Manager for the Energy Technology Manufacturing & Workforce Program RD&D Program. Oversees all aspects of RD&D, workforce development, and technical assistance program planning; scheduling; and implementation of scientific research, engineering, and workforce development components within the program categories.
- Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Technical Project Officer Program Manager (GS-15)
- Serves as the supervisor for the technical project officers in advanced materials and manufacturing technologies. Develops and documents research plans, including associated budget plans, in a timely manner; monitors projects and provides high-level guidance to help resolve any project-related issues, including project modifications; develops and negotiates major agreements with other government agencies in the assigned new business areas.
