ARRIVAL & SECURITY PROCEDURE
Upon vehicle arrival to NREL's South Table Mountain site, visitors are to drive up to the East Gate Entrance Building window (left lane), and security staff will confirm you are on the expected visitor list. Visitors are required to show government-issued photo identification i.e., driver's license, passport, or military ID. Visitors will receive a parking placard and should park in the Research Support Facility (RSF) visitor parking lot.
Visitors must enter the RSF lobby (ground floor) where identification will be checked and a visitor badge provided. All visitors must check-in with the NREL receptionist on the ground floor of the RSF. You will need to show your photo ID to receive your visitor's badge which you will use for the duration of your visit. Once you receive your visitor’s badge, our GFO POC (Todd Allen, 720-481-0947) can be called to escort you to the San Juan meeting room if you don’t know where you are going.
Even if you have an HSPD-12 badge, you will still need to check in with the receptionist; however, if you know where you are going within the RSF, you will not need a host. You will need a host to gain access to any other buildings on the campus other than the cafeteria.
If, at any time, you feel you need assistance, please contact our GFO POC Todd Allen, 720-481-0947.
