On August 5, 2025, the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enterprise Assessments’ Office of Enforcement notified Triad National Security, LLC, of its intent to investigate potential noncompliances with DOE nuclear safety program requirements (10 C.F.R. Part 820) related to a potential Hazard Category - 3 threshold exceedance and personnel contamination in Technical Area-03 at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
