On October 29, 2025, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enterprise Assessments’ Office of Enforcement issued a Final Notice of Violation (WEA-2024-04) to subcontractor Harris Rebar Placing, LLC for violations of DOE’s 10 C.F.R. Part 851 Worker Safety and Health Program requirements related to a serious fall injury at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.
