Low-Level Radioactive Waste Management
This CRAD only applies to reviews associated with radioactive waste categorized as low-level waste (LLW), as defined by the Nuclear Waste Policy Act of 1982, as amended. This CRAD does not address spent nuclear fuel, high-level waste, or transuranic waste. Unless managed in a low-level waste facility, this CRAD does not address utilization of by-product material as defined by the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, or naturally occurring radioactive material.
