Our Mission
The Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs (CI) serves as the primary liaison between the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Congress, state, local, and Tribal governments, as well as stakeholder organizations. CI is dedicated to its mission of supporting effective engagement between the Department and its legislative, intergovernmental, Tribal, and stakeholder partners. Through this work, CI provides responsive information, strengthens coordination across the Department, and elevates partner perspectives for consideration in DOE decision-making.
