The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER) and Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) held a briefing on the  “Cybersecurity Considerations for Distributed Energy Resources on the U.S. Electric Grid” report outlining the key cybersecurity recommendations for clean energy integration, grid modernization, and distributed energy resources (DER) on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 1:00 -  3:00 PM.
 
At the event, Idaho National Laboratory provided a briefing on the energy sector threat landscape and its significance for distributed energy resources. The threat briefing was followed by an overview of the report findings and recommendations for distributed energy resources stakeholders.
