Careers at SWPA

Office of Diversity

The Office of Diversity (formerly the Equal Employment Opportunity Office) reports directly to Southwestern’s Administrator. Its purpose is to plan, implement, and monitor Southwestern’s employment practices under the various statutes and Executive Orders that prohibit discrimination, including Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; the Equal Pay Act; Age Discrimination in Employment Act; and related statutes.

Reasonable Accommodation Policy

Federal agencies must provide reasonable accommodation to applicants with disabilities where appropriate. Applicants requiring reasonable accommodation for any part of the application and hiring process should contact the Human Resources Specialist listed at the bottom of each vacancy announcement. Determinations on requests for reasonable accommodation are made by the Human Resources Officer and will be made on a case-by-case basis.
