Atiq Warraich is serving as Web Program Director in the Office of Public Affairs. He joined the U.S. Department of Energy in 2014. He manages all aspects of Department’s primary public-facing website, Energy.gov - including web development team, CMS support team, cyber security and cloud hosting. He has been part of  Digital Reform Project, an effort to cut wasteful spending and improve user experience by consolidating the agency's public-facing websites onto a single, mobile-first, open-source platform. Over the last seven years, he has led consolidation & migration of over 50 websites to Energy.gov across DOE offices.  

Atiq obtained a bachelors degree in management information systems from Central Michigan University in 2004.
