This initiative will increase the availability of clean electricity whenever and wherever needed and will support the ramp-up of affordable and reliable clean energy solutions.
The RFI seeking public input on the structure of the $505 million Long Duration Energy Storage Initiative was released on May 12, 2022.
The goal of the RFI is to solicit feedback from a wide range of stakeholders.Comments must be received by 5:00 pm ET on June 16, 2022 and can be submitted by emailing EnergyStorage41001RFI@ee.doe.gov.
