In conjunction with DOI and DOE, the White House Council on Native American Affairs (WHCNAA) will conduct (4) Tribal Leader Consultations on the September 2023 Recommendations to Improve Mining on Public Lands report.  The  White House Council on Native American Affairs (WHCNAA) is conducting consultation on the National Tribal Critical Minerals Initiative and policy recommendations for improving Tribal consultation and engagement in domestic critical minerals supply chain. Through this consultation the administration also seeks Tribal leader feedback to prioritize and implement recommendations from the September 2023 Recommendations to Improve Mining on Public Lands report that will benefit tribes.
