Building Performance Standards Webinar

Overview:

State and local governments have shown strong leadership in development of local building performance standards laws and increasingly these policies are driving major reductions in emissions and energy consumption. Hosted by the White House and the US Department of Energy’s (DOE) Loan Programs Office, the Building Performance Standards Webinar will share how public and private entities can partner with DOE to implement building energy efficiency projects.

Through LPO, states can tap into a financing resource for projects utilizing an eligible technology that will make a significant impact on building energy consumption – particularly where projects are seeking to achieve important policy frameworks, such as compliance with state or local building performance standards. New York City Economic Development Corporation and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) will join this webinar to share more about their efforts with the Loan Program Office. This webinar is offered in conjunction with the Building Performance Standards Technical Assistance Network and the National Building Performance Coalition.
