Western Regional Partnership (WRP) is hosting a webinar on tribal resilient energy infrastructure. Tribal lands possess an abundance of conventional and renewable energy resources that could generate power, provide revenue, and create jobs in Indian Country while supporting the goals of energy independence.
This webinar will highlight DOE’s programs that support energy development on tribal lands; share information on relevant state energy policies within the WRP region; highlight Blue Lake Rancheria’s efforts towards energy resiliency; and discuss recommendations and opportunities to enhance and strengthen Indian tribal energy development.
