Pittsburgh, PA - March 25, 2020.  Scientists, researchers, and engineers from the National Energy Technology Laboratory’s Pittsburgh (PA) and Morgantown (WV) sites will again this year be actively engaged in the Covestro Pittsburgh Regional Science & Engineering Fair, a STEM event that will celebrate its 81st year of open competition of research projects in the fields of science, mathematics, and engineering at the Carnegie Science Center.  This competition, which connects nearly 1,100 middle and high school students with the area’s scientists and engineers, is open to all students in grades 6-12 from the 21 counties within Western Pennsylvania and Garrett County, Maryland.  The Science Fair has been a Pittsburgh tradition since 1940 and is the third oldest science fair in the United States under the affiliation of Society for Science and the Public.  For more information about this event please click here
