DOE maintains documentation of Superior Energy Performance® (SEP®) certifications as the SEP Administrator.
After achieving SEP certification, the certified facility may elect to submit additional information about the costs and benefits of SEP to the SEP Administrator using the SEP Voluntary Cost/Benefit Form. This spreadsheet-based form collects information on the levels of investment in implementing the energy management system (effort and costs) for SEP, and a breakdown of energy performance improvement actions at the facility level. This form does not collect non-energy benefits. The SEP Administrator compiles this information to understand the benefits of investing in energy efficiency and identify opportunities for providing greater technical support.
Submission of this form is not required to achieve or maintain SEP certification. SEP-certified facilities may submit this spreadsheet-based form to the SEP Administrator at superiorenergyperformance@ee.doe.gov.
