DOE issued a Notice of Allowance to Resume Distribution, authorizing Fuzhou Sunlight Lighting Electrical Appliance Company, Ltd. to resume distribution of eleven models of lamps.  DOE had previously found certain Fuzhou products did not comport with the applicable energy conservation standards based on Fuzhou's testing.  After determining that the original testing was not performed in accordance with DOE procedures, Fuzhou Sunlight provided new test data to DOE demonstrating that eleven models meet the applicable energy conservation standard when tested in accordance with DOE test procedures.

  • In the Matter of: Fuzhou Sunlight Lighting Electrical Appliance Company, Ltd. (lamps), DOE Case Number 2010-SE-1402, Notice of Allowance.

After issuing a notice of a determination of non-compliance, DOE received updated test results from Fuzhou (who manufactures covered products sold by Westinghouse). DOE found that testing procedures now comformed to DOE testing standards, and that the results showed that all but one of these models complied with relevant energy efficiency standards. Here, the DOE permits Fuzhou to resume production and distribution of those compliant products.
